Hull City’s upcoming home fixtures against Everton and Brentford have both been rearranged, with both encounters set to be screened live by Sky Sports.
The encounter with David Moyes’ Toffees was initially scheduled for Saturday, October 10, but will now take place the following day at 2pm on Sunday, 11, due to a scheduling conflict with Hull Fair.
Their subsequent Premier League home match against Brentford has also been shifted from Saturday, October 24, to Sunday, October 25, with a 2pm kick-off.
Both of those contests will be televised, and further alterations may be in store for the Tigers in the weeks ahead once the European fixture list has been finalised.
The draw for the Europa and Conference Leagues group stages is scheduled for Friday, August 28, and from there, matches involving sides such as Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth could also be moved to Sunday afternoon slots. Brighton and Hove Albion are competing in the Conference League play-offs and face Tromsø across two legs, with the first leg taking place in Norway on Thursday evening, and should they progress, it would introduce additional fixture complications.
The club begins their first top-flight campaign in ten years when they host Manchester United at the MKM Stadium on a Saturday lunchtime, with the match broadcast live on TNT Sports.
Sergej Jakirovic’s Tigers concluded their pre-season schedule with a goalless draw against Nice on Saturday, while United suffered a 4-2 defeat against AC Milan in Wroclaw.
